Unfortunately, we are not offering coaching time for Mars Hill or Junior Speech at this time. If you are interested in these events, please let us know of your interest! We would love to resume these events as soon as we have time and space.
While we are meeting on Zoom, breaks will be provided midway through speech events, and every hour during debate events.
In addition, both LD and TP debate events anticipate offering optional additional meetings time to be scheduled by the club leaders at a time mutually agreeable to the club members. Fees for workshops and other opportunities will be charged separately at the time given.
Parents will be needed to help speech students in crafting and practicing their speeches during the “off weeks.”
We ask that parents be present (at least within earshot) when students are meeting over Zoom.
If/when we are gathering in person, please do not consider this club a drop-off event. We welcome and invite parent involvement and have found that when parents become invested, their students enjoy greater success.
All of the times above are tentative and subject to change, but we do promise to keep you updated!
